She has served as a Design Engineer at CEEE (Civil & Environmental Engineering Experts), where she was responsible for designing and reviewing sewage networks, force mains, and wastewater treatment plants across several Egyptian governorates, including Assiut, El Behira, Sinai, and Port Said. Her role involved technical calculations, hydraulic modeling, and preparation of design reports in compliance with national standards. Prior to that, she worked as a Civil Engineer at the Sanitary and Environmental Engineering Research Institute under the Housing and Building National Research Center (HBRC), contributing to applied research and national infrastructure studies. Rana’s experience also includes participating in the development and review of Egyptian Codes for water and wastewater engineering, reflecting her dedication to regulatory alignment and continuous improvement in environmental standards.
